Phanar hierarch: Russian Orthodox Church betrays the unity of all of us
On October 10, 2022, the head of the Phanariot structure in America, Archbishop Elpidophoros, said that the Russian Orthodox Church was betraying the unity of Orthodoxy, according to the pro-fanariot fosfanariou.gr website.
At the end of the liturgy served in the New York Church of the Holy Trinity of the Phanar structure in the USA, wishing Patriarch Theodore success in the fight against the Russian Orthodox Church, Archbishop Elpidophoros said that the leadership of the Russian Orthodox Church "betrays the history of the Russian people, betrays Orthodoxy, betrays the unity of all of us."
“May God enlighten them so that they change, because we all need to repent, especially those who hold high positions and sometimes make big mistakes,” the head of the Phanariot structure in the United States emphasized.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that according to Patriarch Bartholomew, the 21st century is the century of the restoration of unity between the RCC and Orthodoxy.
