In Chechelivka village, OCU members rob and seize UOC chapel

In the village of Chechelivka, Haysyn district, Vinnytsia Eparchy of the UOC, the "priest" of the OCU and his wife settled in the premises of the UOC chapel, which had previously been seized by Dumenko's supporters. On October 25, 2022, the video from the chapel was posted on her Facebook page by the head of the All-Ukrainian organization Women's Power of Ukraine and lawyer Viktoriya Kokhanovska.

The parishioners of the UOC came to the chapel seized by the OCU raiders, in which the “cleric” and his wife settled. Part of the property of UOC believers, which was kept in the refectory and utility rooms, disappeared in an unknown direction. Dumenko's supporters transferred the icons from the chapel to their "temple".

“You’ve grabbed our chapel… We held services here, and you settled here. Don't you know that you can't live in a place where worship is held?" wondered the parishioners of the temple, emphasizing that they have documents for the chapel. The “priest” of the OCU put them out the door, saying that all issues would be resolved “through the court”.

As the UOJ reported, a priest of the UOC spoke about the harsh seizure of the church in Pishchiv village.
