# ROCOR nun to teach at OCU academy

Nun Vassa Larina, a member of the Inter-Council Presence of the Russian Orthodox Church and a nun of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR), will begin teaching at the OCU’s Theological Academy in Kyiv. According to [the Academy](https://uaorthodox.com/archives/10168), Sister Vassa will join the Department of Church-Practical Disciplines starting next academic year.

Despite her formal affiliation with ROCOR, the OCU describes her as “a friend of our autocephalous Church”.

As [previously reported](https://uoj.news/defending-faith/84332-rocor-nun-tours-ukraine-with-schismatics-endorses-persecutor-of-orthodox-church/) by the UOJ, Vassa Larin delivered a lecture in Russian to the academy, celebrated the liturgy in OCU parishes, and interviewed the architect of the UOC Ban.
