**NOVI PETRIVTSI —** At the Omega Special Forces Center, "hierarchs" of the [Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU)](https://uoj.news/tag/ocu/) and clergy of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC) held a joint consecration service of the site for the construction of a church dedicated to the Ascension of the Lord, according to the [UGCC Department of Military Chaplaincy](https://www.kapelanstvo.ugcc.ua/u-tsentri-spetspryznachennia-omeha-osviatyly-mistse-pid-budivnytstvo-khramu/).

Representing the OCU at the event were "Metropolitans" Oleksandr Drabynko and Ivan Yaremenko. Also present were Greek-Catholic military chaplains and Major General Pavlo Yatsyuk, head of the Omega Special Forces Center.
