# TRC Detains UOC Priest Serving Two Village Parishes

**SYLNE —** On Dec. 2, 2025, Ukraine's Territorial Recruitment Center detained Archpriest Serhii Saviievskyi, a cleric of the Volodymyr–Volyn Eparchy and rector of the parishes in the villages of Sylne and Hupaly, the [diocese reports](https://xn--80a3aeu4czas.xn--j1amh/luczkym-tczk-zatrymano-protoiyereya-sergiya-saviyevskogo/).

According to the diocese, the priest was taken directly from his workplace, passed through a military medical commission, and sent to the Rivne training ground. The diocese calls upon the faithful to pray for Archpriest Serhii.
