Scheduled during Great and Holy Lent, the conference will feature four prominent speakers: His Grace Bp. Vasily of San Francisco and the West; Fr. Demetrios Harper of St. Tikhon’s Orthodox Theological Seminary; Dr. Timothy Patitsas of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology; and Fr. Alexis Torrance of the University of Notre Dame. Through a series of lectures, the speakers will address topics including divine beauty, the commandments, virtue, social ethics, freedom, and obedience, presenting a vision of Christian life that is fully Christ-centered.

Organizers say the conference aims to present Orthodox ethics as neither legalistic nor permissive, but grounded in the person of Jesus Christ.
