**JORDANVILLE, NY —** Clergy of the Eastern American Diocese (ROCOR) gathered on March 17 at Holy Trinity Monastery for the opening of the Northern Great Lenten Clergy Retreat. The retreat began with veneration of the wonderworking Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God, followed by opening remarks from Metr. Nicholas. Clergy sang “Memory Eternal” for several departed figures, including Metr. Laurus, Abp. Vitaly, and others who served the Russian Church Abroad.
