**JORDANVILLE, NY —** The Great Lenten Retreat for clergy of the [northern deaneries](https://www.eadiocese.org/news%5F260318%5F1) of the Eastern American Diocese concluded on March 18, 2026, with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts at Holy Trinity Monastery. The service marked the culmination of several days of prayer, reflection, and brotherly fellowship during Great Lent.

Clergy, monastics, and seminarians began the day before sunrise with the full cycle of Lenten services. Presiding over the Liturgy was Metr. Nicholas, concelebrating with Bp. Luke of Syracuse and other hierarchs, alongside more than 90 clergy. The seminary choir, led by Reader Jonathan Rose, sang throughout the service, while prayers were offered for peace in Ukraine and the Holy Land.
