**GARDEN GROVE, CA —** Metr. Saba and Bp. Anthony of Los Angeles began an eight-day [pastoral visit](https://www.antiochian.org/regulararticle/2784) to Southern California parishes on April 18, opening their tour at St. Luke Church with liturgical services and youth engagement activities during the Paschal season.

Presiding over Orthros and the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy on Bright Saturday, Metr. Saba urged the faithful to preserve the joy of Pascha and pursue spiritual renewal. In his homily, he emphasized the call for believers to become “children from heaven,” pointing to the example of St. John the Baptist, who recognized Christ’s divine origin and supremacy.
