**TERJOLA, GEORGIA —** Renovations at the Dzevri Residential Care Facility are improving daily life for dozens of vulnerable residents after long-standing [sanitation issues](https://iocc.org/blog/georgia-an-upgrade-for-a-care-facility) were addressed through a major infrastructure project.

The facility, home to 65 adults with special needs, had faced serious health and safety concerns as its sanitation units deteriorated beyond repair. Through the “Improving the Living Conditions of the Vulnerable Population in Western Georgia” initiative, the International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC) funded and carried out comprehensive upgrades.
