**MECHANICSBURG, PA —** The faithful of Holy Apostles Church [gathered](https://doepa.org/news%5F260511%5F4) on May 10, 2026, the Fifth Sunday of Holy Pascha and Sunday of the Samaritan Woman, for the blessing of the parish cemetery following the Divine Liturgy. The parish also honored mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, and spiritual mothers with a special Mother’s Day luncheon.

Following the services, Archpriest Timothy Hojnicki led the faithful in procession to the parish cemetery, where prayers were offered for those buried there. The community prayed that the Lord would grant rest to His servants and preserve their memory eternal. The blessing highlighted the hope and joy of the Paschal season and Christ’s victory over death through His Resurrection.
