**SAN FRANCISCO —** The Missions and Evangelism Ministry of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco will host a free [online presentation](https://sanfran.goarch.org/news/america-as-a-mission-field-what-is-the-gospel) titled “America as a Mission Field: What Is the Gospel?” on June 9, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. PST via Zoom. Organizers say the 90-minute session is part of an ongoing effort to explore how Orthodox Christianity can be shared in contemporary American society.

The event will feature Fr. Andrew Jarmus and Fr. Christian Siskos, who will discuss evangelism, the meaning of the Gospel, and the challenges of presenting Orthodoxy within what organizers described as a fragmented and secular culture. The session is open to clergy, parish leaders, and anyone interested in Orthodox Christian outreach.
