**PHILADELPHIA —** The Theotokos of the Life-Giving Spring Mission in Philadelphia has launched a [fundraising campaign](https://doepa.org/news%5F260918%5F2) to purchase a permanent home for its growing parish community, with the blessing of His Eminence Abp. Mark.

The mission is seeking to raise the remaining $250,000 needed toward a $500,000 down payment, with approximately one month remaining in the campaign. The proposed property would provide space for a church, parish hall, gymnasium, and other facilities for parish and community activities.

For Archpriest Nikolai Gulin and the faithful of the mission, acquiring a permanent building would provide more than a place for worship. The new parish home would offer space for prayer, fellowship, education, ministry, and service, while establishing a foundation for the continued growth of Orthodox Christian life in Northeast Philadelphia.

The mission is appealing to faithful throughout the Diocese, as well as friends and supporters, to assist the campaign through financial contributions, sharing information about the effort, and prayer. A permanent home, parish leaders say, would serve both current parishioners and future generations seeking to worship and grow together in Christ.

Donations can be made through the mission’s [GoFundMe campaign](https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-us-build-a-home-for-our-parish?cp%5Fsrc=d). The effort is being undertaken with prayers for the intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos as the parish seeks to establish a lasting spiritual home for its community.
