The celebration brought together Orthodox Christians of numerous national backgrounds, including Russians, Ukrainians, Serbians, Romanians, Greeks, Italians, English, and Swedes. The growing attendance, including newcomers interested in Orthodoxy, reflected the parish's continued development nearly a century after its establishment.

The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Fr. Aleksandar Milović of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Resistencia, Chaco Province. Fr. Pedro Szwako welcomed the visiting faithful, while lector Jorge Szwako assisted during the service. Snežana Kornet, Georgius, Marina Golybina, and Bernardo Puente Olivera provided the liturgical singing.

In his homily, Fr. Aleksandar reflected on Gospel passages from Luke, particularly the miraculous catch of fish and Christ's calling of the Apostle Peter. He emphasized the importance of trusting in God, following His commandments, and responding faithfully to His calling. He also recalled Christ's words: "Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it" (Luke 11:28).

The anniversary marked nearly a century of Orthodox Christian life sustained by generations of immigrants from Russia, Ukraine, Serbia, Montenegro, Greece, Romania, and other traditionally Orthodox countries. Despite geographical separation from their homelands and various material and historical difficulties, the faithful preserved their religious traditions and maintained their parish community.

Following the Liturgy, clergy and parishioners gathered for a traditional agape meal, continuing the celebration through fellowship and shared hospitality. The community expressed gratitude for the generations who established and sustained the church and prayed for its continued growth under the protection of the Mother of God.
