**PHOENIX, AZ —** Uncut Mountain Press [has released](https://uoj.news/news/uncut-mountain-press-releases-st-raphaels-against-socialism/) "Against Socialism," a newly published volume featuring the writings of St. Raphael of Brooklyn and presenting an Orthodox Christian critique of modern revolutionary ideology.

The book is the fourth installment in The Works of Saint Raphael of Brooklyn series. Across 56 pages, St. Raphael examines the principles commonly associated with the Enlightenment and the French Revolution, particularly the slogan “Liberty, Equality, Fraternity.” According to the publisher, he evaluates these ideas through the lens of Orthodox Christian teaching and their impact on Western societies.
