Ancient Faith Announces “Orthodox Legendarium” Event in Tennessee
A new summer event in Tennessee will explore Orthodox tradition through mythic storytelling and theological reflection.
FRANKLIN, TN — Ancient Faith Ministries has announced a new summer event, The Orthodox Legendarium, to be held July 31–August 2, 2026, at St. Ignatius Antiochian Orthodox Church.
The three-day gathering will feature presentations, worship services, and shared meals, exploring legendary and symbolic stories from the Orthodox Christian tradition. The event is open to participants ages 13 and up, including both Orthodox Christians and interested visitors.
Scheduled speakers include Fr. Andrew Stephen Damick and Seraphim Richard Rohlin, who will lead sessions on topics such as dragons in the lives of the saints, ancient traditions surrounding Adam and Eve, the story of the Prophet Jonah, and medieval hagiographic tales.
The program will begin Friday evening with a welcome session and conclude Sunday with Divine Liturgy and fellowship. Organizers say the event aims to combine theological reflection with storytelling rooted in Orthodox tradition.
