Ancient Eastern Churches at the Council are observers

Old Eastern Churches – Coptic, Ethiopian, Armenian, Apostolic Eritrean, Siro-Jacobite, Malancar and Assyrian Church are invited to the Pan-Orthodox Council as observers. It is reported by Blagovest-Info.

Upon invitation of the Patriarch of Constantinople a lot of primates and representatives of Ancient Eastern Churches arrived in Crete Island. The Armenian Church is represented by both Catholicosates. From the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin (Armenia) – chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the AAC, member of the AAC Supreme Spiritual Council, Doctor of Theology archbishop Eznik Petrosian, and from the Great House of Cilicia (Lebanon) – archbishop Komitas Oganian.
