Kiev-Pechersk Lavra community helps large families

Social Department of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra provides material and spiritual support to migrants from the eastern regions of Ukraine and large families in need, reports the website of the Lavra.

Members of the social department sincerely thank everyone who does not remain indifferent and calls to donate "as much as you can from your income. Believe us, this wholehearted charity supports many of the needy. May the Lord reward His favors and supports philanthropists in all their good endeavors!" note the monks.

The Lavra monks handed over migrants from the eastern regions of Ukraine and large families from the Kiev region icons, food packages, candies and sweets, as well as some of the little necessaries. People who received aid expressed gratitude for the attention, assistance and constant prayerful support of the monastery brotherhood.

The monks regularly send donations to a mother with two young children, who is expecting another child. She was given clothes, shoes, food packages and other things which the family most urgently needs.

The Lavra Social Department calls on all sympathetic hearts to help with clothes, shoes, medical supplies, office supplies, hygiene products (diapers for children), to provide financial support to the wards.
