The Hawaiian Iveron Icon is set to travel across the U.S., bringing prayer services and large parish gatherings from the Midwest to the East Coast.

LAKE VILLA, IL — The wonderworking, myrrh-streaming Hawaiian Iveron Icon of the Mother of God will be traveling across the Midwest and East Coast in May 2026, visiting parishes, monasteries, and cathedrals for services, prayer, and veneration.

The pilgrimage will include stops in Illinois, Michigan, New York, and Pennsylvania, where clergy and faithful will gather for Divine Liturgies, akathists, molebens, and other prayer services as the icon moves from community to community. The visit offers a rare chance for Orthodox Christians to pray before the icon, which is widely venerated for her comfort, healing, and spiritual renewal.
