The UOC Primate called to participate in Cross Procession for the sake of God’s Grace for Ukraine (VIDEO)

On the eve of the beginning of All-Ukrainian Cross Procession in behalf of peace, love, and prayer for Ukraine, His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kiev and all Ukraine Onuphry addressed the faithful of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. It is reported by the UOC Awareness-Raising Department.

His beatitude laid an emphasis on the uniqueness of the Cross Procession. “This is not just our spiritual feat. This is a conscious, voluntary activity of each Christian soul which follows Testament’s Commandments. Therefore, it’s not enough merely to watch the Procession. It is high time to reveal our Christian conscientiousness”.

He remarked each Christian, to the best of his/her abilities, can accede to this procession. “Those who are able to go in the Cross Procession for a long time – let them go. Those who can move only within a populated area – welcome too. And those who can feed pilgrims – means also contribution to the great common cause”.

His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry called believers to take an active part in this extraordinary prayer procession in behalf of peace and God’s grace for the Ukrainian land. The Cross Procession will begin simultaneously from the East and from the West, uniting Ukraine on the whole. The Primate noted the Ukrainian Church integrates all people of our country.

The Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church invoked God’s blessing upon all participants of the Cross Procession.
