After the evening vespers a Cross procession came out of the Cave church with the relics of St. Job.
There were nearly five thousand procession participants. Having walked around the Lavra and along the streets of the city, the cross participants reached their final destination in Transfiguration Cathedral where the moleben prayer took place in the honor of the Venerable Job.
During the worship service the brethren and upper Lavra’s choirs were singing, as well as seminarians’ choir of the Pochaev Theological School.
On September 9 at 14:00 small vespers with Acathistos will begin in Transfiguration Cathedral. At 17:00 festive night vigil will start in the same church.
