In Dnepr parishioners prevent theft in the UOC temple

In Denpr parishioners together with policemen apprehended a female thief who’d been trying to steal a donation box, according to the press-service of State National Police Administration in the region.

A female burglar was literally caught red-handed when she was trying to escape with the stolen money, donated by the parishioners of the UOC Holy Trinity Cathedral. The people kept her with their own hands till the arrival of the patrolmen.

The suspect was delivered to the police department. The law enforcement found out the evil-doer is not employed currently, therefore, being drunk, she made up her mind to cash in on the church property.

Apart from that, a 26-year-old Dnepr resident has a child, but deprived of parental rights. She has previous convictions for thievery. A criminal proceeding is opened. A decision on pre-trial restrictions for the thief is pending. She could be facing from 2 to 4 years in jail.
