Attempt #3: Gay-parade in Khreshchatyk is announced in Kiev
“Together with the National Police we arrived at a compromise that the march will be held in Khreshchatyk. However, due to the increased number of participants this year we are working out itinerary options and its extension,” stated Kis who had shortly before advised UOC ex-speaker Georgy Kovalenko in his TV program “Secret Faith Code.”
He noted the organizers anticipate a growing number of participants compared with 2016 year.
”While we had 2000 participants in the last year’s Equality March, this year we expect nearly 5000 people to participate in the march,” he said.
As the UOJ reported earlier, on 12 June 2016 a 1,5 thousand LGBT parade took place in Kiev defended by as many as 6 thousand law enforcers.
