Accusations of the Lavra building is a political campaign, – Ministry of Culture official (VIDEO)
"If you follow all those publications and activity in the press, you will see that all this activity has taken place in June and July exclusively since 2007," Tamara Mazur said. "Today we also have June and also have the eve of the UNESCO session. Why did this activity not appear in the winter? Obviously, because the election campaign for the post of director of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra starts just in a month. And this is a big political election campaign. And this must also be taken into account, while assessing all that appears in the press."
Prior to this, the vicar of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra Metropolitan Pavel of Vyshgorod and Chernobyl in his video message denied all accusations of journalists of illegal buildings.
