Kiev Patriarchate comes up with a new kind of pilgrimage – patriotic

The Synodal Directorate of the Military Clergy of the UOC-KP on its Facebook page announced the pilgrimage "Kholodnoyarskaya Proshcha". The peculiarity of this pilgrimage is that believers are invited not to visit the shrine, but to walk through the places that are connected with the formation of the state of Ukraine.

In the Kyiv Patriarchate this pilgrimage was timed to coincide with two events: "the state holiday of the Baptism of Rus by Prince Vladimir Equal-to-the-Apostles and homage to the events of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921".

For the purposes pursued by this project, the KP Synodal Directorate ranks patriotism first.
