Court to establish the legality of the Little Sofia transfer to UOC-KP, – expert

The Ministry of Culture has not provided documents yet on the basis of which the Refectory Church of the St. Sophia of Kiev was transferred to the Kyiv Patriarchate. Such a statement was made by the head of the NGO "Public Advocacy" Oleg Denisov on the channel of the organization.

"As for the transfer of the Refectory Church of the St. Sophia of Kiev for service, we made a special statement, but we have not received a response from the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine and from the National Preserve so far: on the basis of what documents did this transfer take place?" said human rights advocate Oleg Denisov. "We have sent a request several times to these institutions. Apparently, we will have to initiate a lawsuit and seek remedial action to obtain documents confirming the transfer of this church to the Kyiv Patriarchate denomination so that we could study them later, taking into account the fact that the UOC, starting from 2010, has submitted applications and sought the transfer of the Little Sophia for conducting divine services there."
