Council of Europe will consider all cases of discrimination against believers of the UOC

Head of the UOC Representation to International Organizations, Bishop Viktor of Baryshevka, spoke about the state of affairs in the religious sphere of Ukraine to Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni. This is reported by the Information and Education Department of the UOC.

Bishop Victor paid special attention to anti-church legislative initiatives, which are discriminatory towards the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, and also affect the rights of other faiths.

The Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Ms. Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni, accepted for consideration and scrutiny all documents and materials supplied to her confirming the facts of violations of the rights of the UOC believers.
