On May 8, 2019, the community of the church of the Miracle of Archangel Michael in the village of Novomikhailovka, Donetsk Region, decided to join the OCU. This was the last recorded transition, reports TSN.
Since this transition in early May, no more similar cases have been recorded. This is confirmed by the data of an interactive map of the transitions to the OCU.
As the UOJ reported, on May 14, 2019, the Honorary Patriarch of the OCU Filaret Denisenko published on the official website of the Kiev Patriarchate an official appeal to the entire Ukrainian Orthodox flock, where he reported that under the leadership of the head of the OCU Epiphany, "the ‘transition’ of the UOC communities to the jurisdiction of the OCU slowed down or stopped altogether", since not a single bishop has passed to the new church structure after the granting of the Tomos, nor has a single Local Orthodox Church recognized it so far.
