On January 3, 2022, a post dedicated to the anniversary of the birth of Stepan Bandera was deleted from the Twitter account of the Verkhovna Rada. According to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Arkadiusz Mularczyk, this happened after a conversation between the Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Poland. This is reported by the Telegram-channel "Politika Strany".

Arkadiusz Mularczyk described the removal of the post as a sign that Ukrainians heeded the "voice of Poland" and the words of Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. “I think this signal was received because the post has just disappeared,” he said.

The representative of the Polish Foreign Ministry stated bluntly that for the Polish state "the glorification of Stepan Bandera, the ideologist of Ukrainian nationalists, who killed tens of thousands of Poles in Volhynia, is unacceptable."

At the same time, he stressed that many Ukrainians do not know about the events in Volhynia, so the Poles "have work ahead of them."

Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki condemned the publication by the Verkhovna Rada of a message on the birthday of Stepan Bandera and promised to talk about it with Denis Shmyhal.

“We are extremely critical, very, very negative about any glorification or even mention of Bandera,” Morawiecki emphasized.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that according to the "priest" of the OCU, Bandera was fulfilling God's mission on earth.
