On February 25, 2023, in Boyarka, Kyiv region, a vote was held in favour of the transfer of St. Michael's Church (UOC) to the jurisdiction of the OCU, Matushka Tetiana, the wife of the church's rector, reports to the UOJ.

According to her, the meeting was funded and personally organized by the mayor of Boyarka, Oleksandr Zarubin.

Matushka Tetiana said that provocative billboards and leaflets began to appear in the town on the eve of the meeting. They urged locals to come to the meeting and vote against the "Russian world" and the "influence of Russian Orthodoxy" on Boyarka's united territorial community.

At the same time, Matushka stressed that the voting protocols were kept with irregularities:

"They were not filled in, the heads were not filled in. People were not given the opportunity to vote 'For' or 'Against'. People came to the registration and immediately signed a protocol that they were 'For' the transition to the OCU fold," she said. “These are non-believers because none of them could read the Creed. They don't know what they believe. There were somewhere over 200 people. In the protocols, they officially listed 392. But there are cases when people were registered twice, the last name was indicated twice".

As reported, people arriving in camouflage uniforms tried to seize the Pokrovsky Church of the UOC in the village of Trebukhiv, Kyiv region.
