The conclusions of the examination of the interdepartmental commission, which checked the terms of the agreement between the National Reserve "Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra" and the UOC, are not subject to publication, reports the BBC with reference to the Ministry of Culture.
The conclusions of the expertise, according to officials from the Ministry of Culture, are for official use only.
"It is clear that such a conspiracy of actions of representatives of the state body can only indicate a repressive purpose of the story with the unilateral termination of the contract, which has no concern for the preservation of historical monuments but rather a blatant discrimination against the citizens of Ukraine for their religious beliefs," the Synodal Information and Education Department of the UOC commented on the situation.
As reported, the Kyiv Caves brethren do not intend to comply with the illegal demands to evict them from the monastery. According to the abbot, the brethren "are not against all legal actions, but there can be no illegal ones".
