Law enforcement officers block two buildings of Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra

On July 11, 2023, representatives of law enforcement agencies blocked the 54th and 58th buildings of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. There are hotels for the monastery pilgrims there.
A video posted on the UOJ telegram channel features several dozen police officers standing near buildings 54 and 58 of the Kyiv Lavra and blocking access to them for believers.
The alarm sounded in the monastery, the monks came out to defend their shrine. Some law enforcement officers are behaving aggressively, warning that they will break the phones of believers if the latter film them.
As reported by the UOJ, on July 10, 2023, the commission of the reserve, represented by its acting directors M. Ostapenko and O. Ovchar, tried to get into the 57th and 58th buildings of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra in order to seal them and replace the locks.
