Peaceful rally for peace in Palestine takes place in Bethlehem

On October 18, 2023, in Bethlehem, in the square in front of the Church of the Nativity of Christ, a rally for peace in Palestine was held, reports orthodoxianewsagency.gr.
Metropolitan Benedict of Caesarea, the representative of Patriarch Theophilos in Bethlehem, took part in the peaceful demonstration, along with representatives of religious communities from the city and the region.
The participants called for an end to the war and violence against the Palestinian people and the Gaza population, advocating for the immediate establishment of peace for the common good of the entire region.
As previously reported, the Patriarch of Antioch advocated for the creation of an independent state in Palestine.
