CONSTANTINOPLE — Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, attended the Divine Liturgy on the feast of the Holy Hieromartyr Haralambos the Wonderworker. The service was celebrated at the chapel dedicated to the saint, located within the Patriarchal complex at the Phanar.
The St. Haralambos chapel is closely associated with the veneration of the hieromartyr and includes a holy spring, or hagiasma, traditionally linked to his miraculous intercessions. Clergy and faithful gathered for the feast, honoring the saint’s enduring witness to the Orthodox faith.
Joining the congregation in prayer, the Ecumenical Patriarch commemorated the holy hieromartyr, whose life, martyrdom, and miracles continue to inspire Orthodox Christians throughout the world. The celebration underscored the living spiritual tradition preserved within the Patriarchate and its liturgical life centered on the saints of the Church.
Previously, the UOJ reported that Patr. Daniel of Bulgaria visited the Phanar for Nativity.
