LOS ANGELES, CA — In a release sent to UOJ-America, Simeon Entertainment announced that "Moses the Black" will be released March 13, 2026, on digital platforms in the United States and more than 60 international territories. The film will be available on Apple TV/iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and YouTube Movies, with preorders already open on Apple TV/iTunes.

Directed by Yelena Popovic, the film is inspired by the life of St. Moses the Black and presents a modern-day story of redemption set in Chicago. The cast includes Omar Epps, Wiz Khalifa, Quavo, and Chukwudi Iwuji. Executive producer Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson also contributed to the project, alongside an original soundtrack led by Wiz Khalifa.

Producers describe the film as a stark and soulful exploration of repentance and transformation, drawing from the dramatic conversion of St. Moses the Black, a former bandit who became a revered Desert Father.

Previously, the UOJ reported that the Kennedy Center screened the Orthodox-inspired film El Tonto por Cristo.
