LOS ANGELES, CA — This past Sunday, March 1, for the Triumph of Orthodoxy Vespers, Bp. Anthony of Los Angeles welcomed four brother hierarchs to St. Nicholas Antiochian Cathedral. The visiting hierarchs included Metr. Gerasimos of San Francisco, Abp. Maxim of Los Angeles, Bp. Vasily of the West, and Bp. Ioannis of San Francisco.

Clergy and laity from multiple Orthodox jurisdictions gathered in prayer, carrying icons and proclaiming the faith of the Apostles through both word and image. The Vespers celebrated the unity of Orthodox Christians, emphasizing shared devotion and spiritual solidarity across jurisdictions.

Following the service, attendees joined in fellowship at a reception, strengthening communal bonds. Psalm 133:1 was read to highlight the occasion: “Behold now, what is so good or so pleasant as for brothers to dwell together in unity?”

Previously, the UOJ reported that Bp. Vasily led young adults in faith and fellowship.
