SOUTH CANAAN, PA — The brotherhood of St. Tikhon’s Monastery has announced its 122nd annual Memorial Day pilgrimage, inviting faithful from across the country to participate in a weekend of worship, fellowship, and tradition.
The pilgrimage will begin Friday, May 22, with the official opening marked by Vespers and Matins at the monastery church, followed by a communal meal and an evening commencement address at the seminary convocation center. On Saturday, pilgrims will gather for a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy and the 84th commencement exercises of St. Tikhon’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, along with additional services and shared meals throughout the day.
Sunday’s schedule continues with liturgical services and communal gatherings, maintaining the spiritual rhythm of the pilgrimage. The observance will culminate on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, with multiple services, including a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy and a healing service dedicated to the Mother of God at All Saints Church. The pilgrimage will formally conclude with Vespers and Matins later that day.
