Fr. Peter Heers to Lead Orthodox Weekend in Massachusetts

SOUTHBRIDGE, MA — Holy Archangel Michael Orthodox Church will host a Young Adult Retreat from Friday, May 22, through Sunday, May 24, featuring guest speaker Fr. Peter Heers, known for his podcast The Orthodox Ethos. The retreat promises spiritual growth, fellowship, and education for attendees of all ages, with Saturday open to the wider community.

Fr. Peter will lead two lectures: Friday at 6:30 p.m., on “The Identity of Marriage & Boundaries of Relations,” and Saturday following the Divine Liturgy, on “The Identity of Christ & the Boundaries of the Church.” In addition, he will serve liturgically at the parish on Saturday and Sunday, offering participants an immersive experience of Orthodox worship.

The retreat program includes five meals, lectures, and activities. Pricing is $100 for the full program and $65 for the Saturday session, with family discounts and financial support available. Organizers emphasize limited seating on a first-come, first-served basis.
