BATH, PA — The Orthodox Church in America (OCA) Diocesan Chancery of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania has released a new Talent Survey inviting clergy and faithful across the diocese to offer their skills in service to the Church.

Guided by the theme “Every gift is given for a purpose,” the initiative seeks to identify talents within parish communities, including liturgical service, music, teaching, administration, media, event planning, and charitable outreach. The effort aims to encourage broader participation and deeper engagement in parish life.

The chancery described the survey as part of a wider push to strengthen ministry, improve communication, and foster collaboration across parishes. By gathering responses, the diocese hopes to better connect volunteers with specific needs and support continued growth.

Clergy are encouraged to share the survey with parishioners, who are asked to consider how they may contribute their time and abilities. The survey is available online.

Previously, the UOJ reported that the Inter-Parish Associations Ministry launched a free training course.
