Kimberly Guilfoyle Meets Ecumenical Patriarch in Athens

ATHENS — Kimberly Guilfoyle, U.S. Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic, shared details of a meeting with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in Athens, describing the encounter as focused on religious freedom and spiritual leadership.

"I had a deeply meaningful meeting in Athens with His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I, where I expressed my steadfast support for his spiritual mission and discussed America’s commitment to religious freedom in the region," Guilfoyle said. 

She also praised the continuing influence of the Greek Orthodox Church and its global witness of faith, service, and purpose.

Previously, the UOJ reported that Kimberly Guilfoyle welcomed the Ecumenical Patriarch to the U.S. capital.
