New Book Explores Life of Abp. Anastasios of Albania

LOS ANGELES — A new book titled "Archbishop Anastasios of Albania – Serving Christ Throughout the World" has been released, presenting reflections on the life and ministry of Abp. Anastasios of Albania, according to publisher St. George Press.

In the volume, Abp. Anastasios is praised as a missionary figure whose ministry spans Greece, Africa, and Albania, highlighting his efforts to rebuild the Church after decades of persecution and secularization.

Through interviews and reflections, the book explores themes of globalization, interreligious dialogue, and spiritual renewal, presenting Orthodoxy as both rooted in tradition and open to the world. It also emphasizes a universal missionary vision in which faith serves as a source of renewal for societies, encouraging resilience, compassion, and a deeper understanding of Christian identity in a rapidly changing global context. It further affirms the Resurrection as the central message of hope for the contemporary world, human experience, Orthodox Christian life.

Previously, the UOJ reported that St. George Press had announced a collection honoring Fr. Roman Braga.
