MIAMI — The Antiochian Diocese of Miami and the Southeast has announced its annual DOMSE Scholarship program for 2026, continuing an initiative established in 2021 under the leadership of Bp. Nicholas. The program is designed to support graduating high school seniors within the diocese as they begin their college studies.
The scholarship is open to students who are in good standing and regularly attend a DOMSE parish. Applicants must have graduated from high school during the 2025–2026 academic year and must be accepted and enrolled as incoming freshmen for the Fall 2026 semester. Eligible colleges or universities must be located within one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Tennessee.
Diocese officials say the program aims to strengthen Orthodox Christian life among young adults by encouraging continued involvement in parish communities during the transition to higher education. The scholarship also reflects the diocese’s broader effort to invest in the academic and spiritual development of its youth across the southeastern United States.
Applications are expected to be reviewed annually, with recipients selected based on parish standing and academic readiness for university study.
Previously, the UOJ reported that the Antiochian Archdiocese announced 2026 scholarship opportunities.
