TORONTO — The Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America and Canada is organizing a regional Youth Day at St. George Romanian Orthodox Cathedral on June 6, bringing together Orthodox young people from across the Greater Toronto Area for a full day of prayer, fellowship, and spiritual discussion.

The event is being held with the blessing of His Eminence Abp. Nathaniel and is aimed at participants between the ages of 16 and 30. Organizers said the initiative seeks to strengthen unity among Orthodox youth while encouraging deeper involvement in parish and Church life. The program will include participation in the Divine Liturgy, interactive group activities, and a spiritual discussion led by His Grace Bp. Andrei.

The gathering will also feature a communal lunch with clergy and an evening celebration designed to combine faith, fellowship, and cultural engagement. Organizers described the event as an opportunity for Orthodox youth and their friends to build relationships and grow spiritually within the life of the Church community.

Alongside the announcement, organizers also launched the new ANCHOR Instagram initiative for Orthodox young adults in Central Canada. The platform will promote future Church events and support Orthodox Christian identity while celebrating Romanian, Moldovan, Aromanian, and North American culture.
