UOJ-America is an independent, reader-supported, pan-Orthodox Christian news publication covering the life of the Church in the United States and throughout the world. Our work includes breaking news, original reporting, interviews, commentary, podcasts, video journalism, and documentary projects.

Our mission is to unite Orthodox Christians in defense of canonical Orthodoxy while providing accurate, timely, and responsible coverage of the issues affecting the Church. UOJ-America is not a diocesan or jurisdictional publication—though we operate with the blessing of our respective clergy. We seek to serve Orthodox Christians across jurisdictions through journalism that is professionally rigorous, ecclesiastically informed, and committed to the truth.

UOJ-America is a mission-oriented organization with a small team and a carefully stewarded budget. Because of our size, every member of the team plays a meaningful role in the success, credibility, and development of the publication. We approach this work with seriousness and a strong sense of personal responsibility, recognizing that our reporting affects real people, institutions, and communities.

Those who have built UOJ-America have devoted substantial time, energy, and professional credibility to its mission.
