Children from the children’s home and social project "Father's House" congratulates Lavra superior on 55th anniversary

The head of the association of social projects "Father's House" Roman Korniyko, together with children from the children’s home, congratulated the superior of the Holy Dormition Kiev Pechersk Lavra Metropolitan Paul on Easter holidays and 55th anniversary, reports Lavra.ua.

Brethren of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra and the organization "Father's House" have enjoyed close bonds and friendship for more than 20 years. "All these years, the monastery monks have spiritually guided both the teaching staff and foster children of all generations. Children grow up, go into adulthood and in their place come the very young. And everyone we treat warm-heartedly, find words of comfort and support, as well as goodies for the small ones", they said in the press-service of the monastery.

The children prepared a small performance for Metropolitan Paul. Bishop thanked for congratulations and especially noted the beautiful embroidered shirts.
