On July 15 the regular meeting of the Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate held in Phanar considered the request of the Ukrainian Parliament on the issue of autocephaly to the Church of Ukraine, reports Romfea.gr.
According to the communiqué, the Holy Synod did not reject the request, but sent to a competent conciliar Commission for further examination.
