Pilgrims of Cross Procession – 2016 prayed at a memorial to Heaven’s Hundred
More than four thousand believers have performed a memorial prayer at the monument to the Heaven’s Hundred in the town of Chudnov, Zhitomir region. It is reported by the Information and Education Department of the UOC.
July 17, participants of All-Ukrainian Cross Procession of peace, love and prayer for Ukraine, currently hosted by the Zhytomyr Diocese of the UOC, made a funeral prayer at the memorial. That very day, the pilgrims continued their walk in the direction of Zhitomir to the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery, located in Trigorie.
During the Procession the participants prayerfully commemorated the Ukrainians killed in the Maidan events and in the east of our country during the military conflict.
Recall the participants of the All-Ukrainian Cross Procession of peace, love and prayers continue their pilgrimage to Kiev to take part in the celebrations for the Day of the Baptism of Russia on July 27.
