Near Borispol Cross Procession passed under screams of radicals (VIDEO)
The situation at the entrance to Borispol was tense. At the road junction there gathered a lot of people: the National Guard, the believers of the Borispol district and right-wing radicals.
Today, at 17.10, the east wing of the All-Ukrainian Cross Procession passed through the crowd of nationalists. The radicals shouted angry slogans towards the believers, threw raw eggs and demanded to remove the National Guard protecting the cross walkers from provocations. The National Guard managed to push back the crowd of nationalists.
The UNSO radicals have repeatedly said that they will not allow the religious column in the city. On Friday, 22 July, the Boryspil City Council by majority vote decided to ban the passage of the Cross Procession through the city.
According to the UOJ source, believers are now bypassing Borispol in the direction of Kiev.
