Two churches of the UOC burgled in Odessa diocese

On the night of September 24, unknown persons burgled and desecrated Sts Constantine and Helena’s Church in Reni, Odessa region, reports the Information and Education Department of the UOC.

The burglars broke into the church, made a mess inside and stole church plates, including the Gospel, Eucharistic and baptismal sets and so on.

The intruders also stole donations for humanitarian aid to victims of armed conflict in the Donbass.

The police, immediately called after the detection of the burglary, documented the offense.
