German Catholic Bishops Push for "Full Normalization" of LGBT Identity in Schools

The German bishops will push for the "full normalization of homosexuality, bisexuality, and transgenderism," according to local news sources.
BERLIN — The German Bishops’ Conference is developing a document to prevent “discrimination” against homosexual and transgender students in schools.
A local Catholic news source reports that "full normalization of homosexuality, bisexuality, and transgenderism has been proposed."
Led by Bishop Heinrich Timmerevers, the initiative stems from the “Synodal Way,” a reform process launched in 2019 to normalize homosexuality, bisexuality, and transgenderism within the Church.
The effort reflects the German Catholic Church’s increasingly bold defiance of Catholic Church teaching on gender and sexuality.
The late Pope Francis was critical of the German bishops’ Synodal Way but did not move to discipline them.
His successor, Pope Leo XIV, has so far done nothing to intervene either.
